Microsoft have introduced a fantastic new feature in Windows Server 2008 R2 called Active Directory Recycle Bin. Yep you guessed right! The Active Directory Recycle Bin moves deleted objects to another container instead of tombstoning them. This makes recovering a deleted object is easy. The tombstone period is still important, as objects reside in this container only for the length of the tombstone period. When the tombstone period expires - the object is permanently deleted.

Sophos endpoint Security & Control allows you to deploy Sophos Antivirus and manage Endpoint Security Control from a central configuration on the Server. This saves IT Administrators a lot of time from going from client PC to run the installation manually.

If your anything like us - you find yourself using Remote Desktop more often than not.. It's easy, quick and most of all - from XP onwards - all versions of windows have it built-in. If your working with Servers or desktops alike from a remote location you'll often need to bring up task manager if a program hangs or explorer is unresponsive - if you were sitting in from of the machine you would usually use Ctrl Alt Del to do so.
