Windows Event Log Service Failed To Start - Access Denied

In Windows Server 2008 R2 edition you get the following error: "Windows could not start the Windows Event Log service on Local Compurter. Error 5: Access is denied." Follow these simple steps to restore functionality to the service.
Step 1: Log on to the Server with a user who has Administrator privileges and Click the Start button then select Run...
Step 2: Type regedit into the run prompt and click OK as shown below to open the Registry Editor:

Step 3: Navigate to the following Registry Key: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MPSSvc
Step 4: Grant full permission to the NT Service\MPSSvc account to the above registry key
